SEPAGO SELLS USER PROFILE MANAGEMENT TO CITRIX

sepagoPROFILE becomes Citrix User Profile Manager +++ sepago development team cooperates with Citrix on virtualization +++

Cologne/Houston 20 May 2008. At the Citrix Synergy exhibition in Houston (Texas/USA), Cologne-based sepago GmbH today announced that the sepagoPROFILE software it developed has been sold to Citrix Systems Inc. USA. The agreement includes the complete takeover of the product, which will form the future core technology for profile management within the Citrix Delivery Center (Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp and Citrix Provisioning Server). In addition, the development division of sepago will continue development of the product for the virtualization of application provisioning in cooperation with Citrix over the next 18 months.

Paul Luetke Wissing, CEO of sepago, also emphasizes the importance of the agreement: „The agreement with Citrix documents the evident position of sepago as a company that combines technology development with respect to market requirements and future-oriented IT. Through the joint development with Citrix, sepago will further expand on this position.“ sepago is the first German company to create a system component for Citrix as an external developer. It was agreed to keep the financial volume of the transaction confidential.
