My New Book is Out: Windows Server 2008 Command Line Reference

The command line is a powerful tool. Many a tedious task can be offloaded to a cleverly written script. Scripts and batch files, however, are like tool boxes without too many tools (which relates more to batch files than scripts). To become truly powerful, the boxes must be filled. That is what my reference book is all about. It describes all of the important command line tools that ship with Windows Server 2008 and Vista. Grouped into sections, it is easy to find the right tool for a specific job. If multiple tools are available, either incompetent ones are omitted or annotations explain the differences. There is a downside, though. Unfortunately you need to be able to read German!
